Pamela is a trained and experienced supervisor with more than 20 years of experience in the clinical field. She is also a skilled educator providing training in couple and family therapy to social workers, psychologists, counsellors and other health professionals.
Clinical Supervision
Pamela provides a safe, supportive and confidential environment to critically reflect on professional practice, broaden your perspectives, and extend essential skills and knowledge through the integration of theory and practice to specific client work.
She will work with you to: identify your learning needs; explore opportunities for growth; develop competencies; manage challenging issues; master the therapeutic relationship; celebrate successes; build confidence and self care practices.

Pamela receives regular supervision. She is committed to maintaining high standards in her clinical work and views supervision as an essential element to supporting her practice. Pamela appreciates that supervision is an ongoing developmental process that spans the course of a practitioner’s career.
Supervision for individuals or groups is offered.
Frequency of sessions
Sessions can be on either a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
It is recommended that practitioners receive one hour minimum of clinical supervision per month on a regular basis.
Weekly or fortnightly sessions are recommended when you are developing your clinical practice knowledge and skills, or the nature of your work requires more frequent supervision sessions.
Cost
Individual Clinical Supervision session $185 +GST per hour
New Graduates $180 +GST per hour

Professional Education
Pamela conducts developmental training for social workers, psychologists, counsellors and other allied health professionals. She has taught on the Counselling and Therapy streams for the Centre for Community and Welfare Training (CCWT) program and for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) professional development program. In most recent years she has taught family therapy at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).
Workshops can be tailored to meet specific learning goals. Pamela will work with you to develop a training program that meets your professional and organisational needs.
